Appalachian Square Dancing

If you are interested in this traditional clogging dance style - please let us know

We are the only dance school in Australia that teaches this form.

Our dance classes now operate on Dance Terms - this allows our dancers to spend time with their family and friends during our breaks.  We also break just before Xmas and return to Clogging in February.

Cost: $10 per person per regardless of how many classes you attend during the night
(Your first night is free!)

Note: As the night progresses the next class will continue to challenge your skills

We now accept payments for classes at the beginning of each term. (You can pay your Term fee over 2 fortnight periods if required- please let us know if you want to do this)

Term fees are non-refundable - sorry but we have to hire the hall.

Age: 10 years +

What to wear:

  • Comfortable clothes that you can dance in (e.g. jeans, t-shirt or shirt)
  • You do not need clogging shoes to start clogging. Just wear shoes that are comfortable -  joggers are OK or if you have leather soled shoes they are good too.
  • Do not wear thongs, scuffs or slides OR come to class barefoot - as you will not be able to clog.

What to bring:

  • We suggest you bring a bottle of water and if you sweat a lot you might like to bring a small towel.
  • Bring some friends - it is always better dancing with friends and you'll meet some new ones at Blue Heeler Cloggers.
  • and your sense of humour.....
